The cottage is in a great location, near main market. Clean and well maintained rooms. Firstly the location is very nice. In the heart of the city yet not in the busy streets. They have parking and even arranged stay for our driver. The homestay was very clean and had all kinds of facilities. It has a overhead roof to enjoy the wonderful view. The food they offered was pocket friendly, tasty and healthy. At night, the rooms stayed cosy and warm enough. Overall the stay was perfect, we wish we could have spend more time in such a homely and friendly homestay where the owner is always on toes to help the customers. A clear choice in my opinion. It stands out clearly.

We had a very comfortable stay at Pateng Homestay. It was near the market. The host was also very nice and she made sure we are comfortable there and well attended. We enjoyed the home cooked food for our breakfast and dinner and felt like home.

Our family of 3 loved the Odyssey's Pateng Homestay. Mrs. Phanbuh, our host was warm and welcoming. The superior delux room had a balcony with a lovely view of the hills, a double bed and a single one.Neat, clean and welcoming place. Hot water was available throughout and the omelettes we had were also good. Odyssey’s Homestays are sure here to stay.

Yes, the stay was good. The property is located adjacent to a Church on a wide road as per Cherrapunji standards. Owner is a sweet lady being helped with few boys who were unfortunately not around when we reached the property, on Sunday. However, this didn't really affect us much, we went out for dinner in a near by restaurant, 10 min car drive. We chose to have the breakfast there which was nothing more than bread and butter/jam. Best part is that your car driver gets his own dormitory without any additional cost. Also there are some space beside the road for car parking. One of the two rooms we booked was really basic, not much other than the beds. However, the other room was well equipped. Overall a very good stay.

Stay was very comfortable. Bahnah made sure all our needs were met. He was very helpful and accomodating. This is literally the only place where the geyser had hot water and not just luke warm....lol. It's a real comfort in a cold place.

We stayed in Odyssey's Pateng Homestay for one night only. The location is very good and very close to local shops and restaurants. We stayed in first floor room with balcony. The mountain view from balcony is very good. Rooms are clean as well. Overall it is a good stay.

Very clean, very well maintained, very calm and peaceful neighborhood. Delicious food as well. The owner of this place is very well behaved. She took care of us, called us when we were late. This is a perfect stay.

The location and view from balcony of the homestay is very good. After rains, 2-3 waterfalls can be seen directly from the balcony/room. We had the room on 1st floor, which gives a good view but the stairs, while okay for young travellers, is very steep for older people. Dinner was good and reasonably priced, but breakfast was not available as cook was away/sick.

The rooms were neat and clean and the service was also very good. The people their were friendly and made us feel at home. Cooking was just like eating homecooked meal and it seemed to be made with care. Food was tasty. The view from the room was nice, we could see the mountains also clouds came inside the room. The place also had a common terrace for uninterrupted viewing experience. All in all it was a wonderful experience, recommend it anyone who is looking for a nice homestay to serve as a base for travelling cherapunji. The place is near cherapunji market which is a plus point.
